Rachel Hitch,

Account Management

Rachel brings more than 20 years of multi-faceted experience in relationship management, communication and marketing, research and analysis, and project management to her role as Vice President of Account Management at Meteor Learning. In her role, Rachel oversees a high-caliber team of Account Management Directors responsible for cultivating relationships with a diverse portfolio of programs across Meteor’s partner post-secondary institutions.

Rachel and her team work closely with Meteor’s partners at a senior level to provide the utmost level of personalized service and support. The Account Management team builds upon the strength of the entire Meteor organization to meet and exceed annual student enrollment goals and promote growth and expansion of engagements with current partners. Rachel will also be developing Meteor’s Student Success Coaching model, supporting a Student-First approach to each student’s educational experience. Finally, Rachel is also the Account Director for Meteor’s portfolio of education-related graduate degrees with the Bank Street Graduate School of Education.

Rachel comes to Meteor from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education, most recently serving as Project Director at the Center for Education Policy Research. In this role, Rachel led multiple research projects focused on higher education and K-12 schools. Earlier in her career, Rachel held leadership positions within the Bloomberg administration for the City of New York, supporting a major reform project at the NYC Department of Education and high-profile redevelopment projects at the NYC Economic Development Corporation. She began her career as a research assistant at MDRC, a leading national social science nonprofit organization.

Rachel holds a master’s in public policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a bachelor’s from Wesleyan University.
